ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVE:To determine the content of glycyrrhetic acid in zhenkening capsules by RP-HPLC.METHODS:The separation was performed on Hypersil C 18,the mobile phase consisted of methanol-water-glacial acetic acid(87∶13∶2.5)with flow rate at 1.0ml/min and detection wavelength at 254nm,the column temperature was set at room temperature.RE-SULTS:The calibration cure of glycyrrhetic acide was linear in the concentration range of 10~120?g/ml(r=0.9999),the average recovery was 99.68%(RSD=0.49%).CONCLUSION:This method is simple,fast,accurate,and suitable for the determination of glycyrrhetic acid in zhenkening capsules.

ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVE:To observe the effect of electrolytes on the stability of fat emulsion in ALL IN ONE.METHODS: The size of fat emulsion particulates was observed under microscope in 400 - fold magnification.The oil - water demixing was observed with naked eye.RESULTS:The higher the concentration of electrolytes,the stronger the influence on the fat emulsion particulates aggregation and the easier the oil - water demixing appeared.The influence of bivalent ions was stronger than that of monovalent ones.The longer the mixture stored the stronger the influence.CONCLUSION:In order to keep the stability of ALL IN ONE,the concentrations of electrolytes should not be too high,and ALL IN ONE must be used up in 24 hours.

ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the effects of arginine-enriched total parenteral nutrition(TPN)on the nutritional and immune parameters of patients undergoing abdominal surgery.METHODS:67 patients undergoing abdominal surgery were randomly assigned to receive routine TPN(control group,n=24),TPN plus 15 g arginine(n=25,trial group Ⅰ)or TPN plus 30 g arginine(n=18,trial group Ⅱ)for 3 days postoperatively.RESULTS:Arginene-enriched TPN significantly improved postoperative nitrogen balance,promoted the recovery of plasma-albumin and total protein,and elevated the levels of CD4+ and CD4+/CD8+,but no significant difference was noted for immunoglobulin,complement C3 and complement C4 during trial period.CONCLUSION:Arginene-enriched TPN can improve patients' postoperative nutritional and immune parameters and enhance the efficacy of TPN support.

ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVE:To investigate the absorbability polyvinylidene chloride(PVC) infusion vessel to ciclosporin.METHODS:The concentration of ciclosporin was determined by HPLC after storing in the PVC infusion packages or glass bottle for different period of time and its change was investigated as well.RESULTS:The adsorption rate of PVC infusion vessel to ciclosporin increased time-dependently,with a peak value of 38.66% at 12 h,which was significant as compared with glass infusion bottle at the same time.CONCLUSION:The PVC infusion package has stronger absorbability to ciclosporin,thus its use should be avoided if possible.

ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVE:To study the preparation of the ligustrazine hydrochloride liposome and evaluate its quality.METHODS:The liposome was prepared by various methods on a trial basis.The entrapped efficiency(EE)of the liposome derived from passive loading and active loading was compared.RESULTS:The ammonim sulfate gradient technology had the highest EE of 48.63%and its mean size was 6.5?m and the pH was 5.93.It was stable in refrigeratory(4℃~10℃)storage for 30 days.CONCLUSION:The ammonim sulfate gradient technology of preparation of the ligustrazine hydrochloride liposome is feasible.
